  This is deceptive and misleading.

  There are dozens of positions of planets in relation to constellations cited on the tablets. These are incredibly accurate and astronomers have used those positions and pinpointed 586/7 as Jerusalem's fall.

  The position of a planet in relation to a constellation is like an astronomical fingerprint, and conjunctions of multiple planets in relation to a constellation are so unique, they may have not occurred at any other time in all of human history in that particular configuration.

  Lunar eclipses are not rare and are far more easily open to interpretation and confusion.

  Saying lunar eclipses are superior proof is more WT fudging to hang onto their beloved 607, without which, there is no beloved 1914.

  i think the excellent thread on the wandering jews having to defecate outside the camp could have explored further implications, such as animal faeces, and also the fact that when women are in a group they cycle (menstruate) together.

  imagine what the place was like with their attitude towards a menstruating woman, or with the disposal of the "rags".how did they dispose of all the placentas, etc.

  Being deluded about beliefs is one thing but if you watch the way Stephen Lett handled the JW org video explaining the 'forgiveness of kh loans' a few years ago, I don't see delusion.

  He was calculated and completely dishonest, which is a quality you need to have if you are trying to be loyal to a fake belief system.

  Loveuni, I'm not sure why you insist I answer your question. I think what is happening in isreal, the gaza strip, West bank is a disgrace. It makes the world we live in a more dangerous place and is a root source of discontent for muslims.

  Of course Israel has a right to defend themselves, like any other country has. Once again, ascribing the moral high ground to either side is a tough job.

  Love uni, another question could be, why are Palestinians firing rockets?

  Mouse, Israelis are forcibly evicting Palestinians from suburbs in Jerusalem, the U. N. is saying that this could be construed as a possible war crime.

  Jewish people view Palestinians as illegal squatters on their land.

  It's a complex situation and it's not as easy as proclaiming that one side, or the other has the moral high ground.
